What is the difference between a split air conditioning system and a ducted aircon system and which type do I need?

A split system air conditioning system would generally be used for one room or area only, while a ducted system has a more extensive area coverage with a motor and compressor system that can be used to duct cool or warm air into different rooms or areas of the house.

For some homes, it may be that a combination of the two can be used to maximise its efficiency, but we will certainly cover all your options when we come out to review your needs and prepare an obligation free quotation for you.

There are also “multi-head” units that may suit your needs best!

Do I need three-phase power for air conditioning?

No, you do not need three-phase power. Many of today’s systems require less energy to run and can operate with single phase.

What brand of air conditioning systems does Good Day recommend and why?

We have access to all leading manufacturers’ brands but primarily use Mitsubishi and Daikin units.
